Reiki I & II
Reiki I (Day One) provides a foundation that will enable you to informally share hands-on Reiki with yourself and others. We will cover the origin of Reiki, how it differs from other modalities, how it can complement traditional therapies, and suggestions for hand placement. The day will include classroom training and opportunities to give and receive hands-on Reiki. Reiki II (Day Two) provides more in-depth information and practice, including learning sacred symbols that will deepen the Reiki experience, practicing sharing Reiki at a distance, and sending Reiki to past and future events and to events around the world. Upon completion of Level II you will be a certified Reiki Practitioner. Reiki I/II will include:
- Classroom training
- Hands-on practice
- A Reiki manual published by the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT)
- A certificate of achievement

Note: While Pandemic restrictions are in place, Reiki I&II will only be offered online and the ART/Master class and Reiki for Animals are on hold.
In recognition of the financial challenges accompanying the pandemic, at a time when Reiki is needed more than ever, I am also offering a Pay What You Can option for the online Reiki I&II classes. If you can pay the suggested $350 tuition, please use the registration option below; it will help to defray my expenses as well as support those who cannot pay the full price. Reiki for Animals

Reiki for Animals (Day Three), introduces you to sharing Reiki with our non-human friends and family. We will cover why animals are receptive to Reiki, how they experience it differently, the importance of consent, and working safely with large and small animals. The day will include classroom training and opportunities to share Reiki with the residents of Flag Ranch, preparing you to share Reiki with the animal people in your life. Reiki for Animals will include:
- Classroom training
- Hands-on practice
- Susan’s guidebook on Reiki for animals
- A certificate of completion
You can join us for Reiki I and Reiki II or just for Reiki for Animals, or for all three days. If you register for only Reiki for Animals, you will need to have completed at least Reiki I with any Reiki Master.
Whether learning Reiki for the first time or gifting yourself with a refresher course and immersion in the world of Reiki for animals, you will emerge with new knowledge, tools for healing yourself and the world, and a more conscious connection to our world.
All sessions are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day unless stated otherwise. Food and lodging for in-person classes are not included – please BYOLunch. We will provide a list of local hotels and inns.

Flag Ranch offers a safe place to pause in open spaciousness. Home to The Flag Foundation, a 501c3 public charity, it offers sanctuary to horses and people. It is glorious and beautiful, and it is a natural setting with rolling terrain, a range of flora and fauna, bright sun and warm temperatures during the summer months.
