Speaking Topics

Here are some suggested topics for speaking engagements; if you would like to propose a different topic or way of tailoring the presentation for your group, we can definitely discuss it!

• How Curiosity Can Save the World – If you think about it, curiosity is at the root of the solutions to many of the issues we deal with: Dealing with differences, settling conflicts, enhancing creativity, fostering compassion. Where does it come from? Why does it go away?
• The Power of Asking Questions – Asking the right question can shift the dynamics in difficult relationships, change how we look at something, and open the doors to new ideas. Explore the power of asking questions – and the dangers.
• Making a Comeback – Everyone encounters setbacks, including lost jobs, lost loved ones, and lost homes – or just lost enthusiasm. Even organizations and teams are faced with the need to make comebacks. Life-changing events eventually happen to everyone, and when your life has been disrupted you have to make a comeback. (Or not – it’s up to you.) After eight moves to new cities, ten new jobs, four promotions, one demotion, one layoff, and the death of her husband, Susan can still laugh – and can talk about the things that have helped her come back.
